Job Summary


Working as the General Manager - Markets, you will ensure that the market retail staff delivers superior customer service and profitably operates the market retail.  To strategically plan and operate the market retails to ensure long-term profitability and client satisfaction.    

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Manage the overall operations of market retail to include all aspects customer service interaction, financials, QA/Safety and contract compliance.
  • Responding to guest inquiries/feedback while demonstrating a high level of customer care.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and that all goals and budgets are maintained.
  • Responsible for interacting with Projects team for design and construction of all market retail new builds and renovations (accessibility renovations). 
  • Manages company card, interfacing with Finance to provide accurate, timely and reasonable explanations for any expenditure of company funds for client approved vendors.
  • Responsible for developing, presenting and executing continuous process improvements to market retail locations.
  • Develop Quarterly Action Plans to complete projects that improve market retail innovations and customer satisfaction based on Customer Advocacy initiatives.


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or relevant years of experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing a department.
  • Ability to interact with customers and associates in a professional and pleasant manner on a daily basis.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills to deliver business presentations.
  • Ability to manage and mentor a diverse work force.
  • Knowledge of retail and ability to operate in a P&L environment.
  • Possess hospitality mindset.
  • Advanced typing and knowledge of Microsoft Office, to include:  PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Point of Sale systems and the Internet.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.  Ability to carry out responsibilities with little supervision, as well as juggle many tasks simultaneously.
