Role Summary:

Develop staffing and support strategies to meet the growing demand of support in a rapid campus expansion. Direct the workflow of the various teams to resolve equipment repair tasks, equipment maintenance as well as work with teams responsible of the construction and expansion.

Direct the workflow of various teams, consisting of direct reports and vendors to resolve all food related equipment repair and maintenance issues, largely initiated by Food Services Operators as well as users of an electronic ticketing system.

Partner with facilities management team responsible for building infrastructure to retrofit food services spaces requiring trade work and health department approvals. Coordinate with trade teams through job completion once permits are in place.

Oversee inventory management of all food services equipment owned on-site, using asset management software.  

Oversee food services equipment preventative maintenance calendar and task scheduler.

Develop and execute planned purchases of CapEx for all Food Services Equipment

Recommend and select new and innovative equipment to improve operational efficiencies. Communicate with space developers on what is the best in class equipment to be installed in our future operations. Developed a preferred equipment database

Support activities at the Cafe Ops, Catering and Production Kitchens across the Bay Area

Complete and communicate performance appraisals for BA staff as required. Manage other administrative activities related to Human Resources as needed.
