Job Summary

Our National Accounts team, seeks a strong Strategic Project Manager for their foodservice environment build outs & refresh projects across the National Account portfolio. Primary responsibility will be managing internal and external client expectations and project deliverables on Compass & client investment projects, as well as ensuring design and equipment partners are delivering quality, value and innovation. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five plus years of experience of the Design & Build Process for Retail & Foodservice Environments. They should be well-rounded in design concepts, construction process, budgeting process, bid process, and Project Management with exceptional communication and people skills. Qualified candidates will have had experience overseeing Design Development, Contract Documents and Construction Development for multiple projects, coordinating needs for the Client, Architect, Engineer, and General Contractor.





  • Drives the Design & Planning Strategy for the National Accounts team
  • Leads all relationship building and interactions between field division managers and Eurest National Accounts (NA) corporate leadership.
  • Creates innovative tools and processes to streamline project dependencies in order to manage Sector and Client Expectations
  • Directs project communication procedure between upper management and the field in order to achieve efficiencies when implementing problem solving and decision making 
  • Develops Strategic Alliances and activities to enhance & grow partner relationships
  • Pursues profitability for all projects by empowering and realigning human capital and by effective management of resources
  • Supervises budgets, oversees all projects interdependencies & efficiencies, and is responsible for meeting project objectives and client project expectations  
  • Initiates and maintains Interface between the project deliverables, vendor partners, operations team, and client expectations.
  • Forecasts, identifies and informs of potential hurdles and conflicts on the field and with Compass Internal and External Clients, and develops solutions to address and move forward
  • Coordinates with Project GC & PM on all projects schedules and logistics
  • Oversees final contract terms with service providers i.e. Architects, Contractors
  • Communicates regularly with Director of Business Strategy NA, VP of Design Innovation – Envision Group, and all other upper NA management members on project priorities, project pipelines, and project status.






  • 4 year Bachelor degree required
  • 7+ years proven track record of success in construction/project management, preferably within the restaurant / foodservice / retail industry
  • Proven ability to follow procedure, manage logistics and flexibility to adjust and change on the spot within guidelines an and project parameters
  • Working Knowledge of Architectural & Engineering Process
  • Working knowledge of Custom Millwork Fabrication and development
  • REVIT or AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
  • Solid understanding of LEED and WELL practices
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 50%-60%
  • Ability to manage projects and clients in various US time zones.
