Job Summary

Compass Group, the world’s largest contract foodservice company, has a Great Opportunity for career development and growth here at its North America headquarters in Charlotte, NC as an Applications Support Analyst.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Canteen Technology Group’s suite of applications
  • Assist Level 1 Support team to resolve issues raised by end users
  • Investigate and resolve application alerts
  • Execute scheduled or unscheduled tasks relating to operational maintenance and monitoring of the applications
  • Must be willing to work on weekends and/or after hours on rotational basis
  • Communicate issue status and resolutions to end-users
  • Document issues and resolutions in support knowledgebase
  • Assist in asset management of handheld devices

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Must have strong communication and documentation skills
  • Experience in supporting business applications
  • Effective call management including logging, monitoring / updating, prioritizing and resolving calls, emails and indirect inquiries in a timely fashion.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and thorough with assignments
  • Must be comfortable writing ad-hoc SQL queries to investigate data issues
  • Up-to-date knowledge of scripting, coding and application software
